Towson University’s Planetarium, College of Fine Arts and Communication, and Community Art and Dance Centers offer free and ticketed events and classes for all ages. These Arts, Culture and Entertainment (ACE) experiences are open to the public and showcase a variety of professional and student work. Discover art classes and high-quality events for all ages at COFAC. With over 200 events each year, the college aims to raise awareness for the arts and engage both the university and local communities.
The Community Arts Center offers classes, workshops, and educational programs that encourage students and local communities to think creatively and collaboratively. With summer camps, youth classes, and more, there’s something for everyone at the Community Arts Center.
As an extension of TU’s Department of Dance, the Community Dance Center offers classes for people of all ages and experience levels. High-quality instructors and classes allow participants to learn in an encouraging, productive environment.
With an all-digital system that displays the night sky at any time, the Planetarium is a must-see on Towson University’s campus. Open to the public for free, every third Friday of the month during the school year, people can admire stars, galaxies, and even learn about the Big Bang from their seats.
